Image by motoyen If anyone needs proof that America has given it's manufactuering base to the Chinese they only need to look at this car. Everything about the fit and finish of this car feels like a GM product from about 10 years ago. Cheap plastics, dull design, poor workmanship. The scary thing is it doesn't fee like a Chinese car it feels like an American car. My guess is China is about 10 - 15 years behind the US in manufacturing and closing fast. In the future economy where price is more of a concern than safety China will be the Detroit of the world.
